this is a live picture from the courthouse in orlando, florida where jurors have just reached a verdict in the murder trial of casey anthony. >> anthony is accused of killing her two-year-old daughter caylee. jurors deliberated for ten hours if convicted of first-degree murder, she could get the death penalty. they could find her not guilty or convicted of her second degree manslaughter. >> they have reached a verdict of casey anthony. we're waiting for word. they are expected to read it out loud around 11:15.

>> we'll bring it lives live when it happens. >> coastguard has sent a c-130 to help search for american tourists after a fishing boat overturned. >> several bay area residents are among the missing after their fishing trip in the sea of cortez turned into a disaster. terry mcsweeney joins us from the coastguard station in alameda with more. >> reporter: right off the top, the mexican navy is in charge of search and rescue operations but u.s. is helping out with a c-130. 56 hours after the boat capsized if there are any remaining survivors this is the best chance to find them. the u.s. coastguard is sending a c-130 to mexico. >> it has a range of about 3,000 miles and can state air in excess of eight hours.

so it gives you the ability to do stay up for a long period of time and cover a larger space than say a helicopter. >> one american has been confirmed dead but 19 were rescued. they grabbed coolers and life vests as they waited to be rescued. this is what survivors described, a sudden violent storm around 2:30 morning, a large swell swamping the 115 foot vessel sending them in the water. gary wong in san francisco was out with three brothers and one is still missing. >> i heard yelling and my brother got up and we heard in the hallway, say get out, get out. help me, help me. help me. the water was up over his head.

>> other survivors from the north bay and the east bay. this as you mentioned an annual 4th of july fishing trip, as years gone by they used to spend the night on shore. this year they decided to spend the night on that boat. live in alameda, "abc 7 news". east bay fire investigators are busy trying to determine if illegal fireworks caused a multitude of fires on july the 4th holiday. illegal displays could be seen in the sky in oakland. amy hollyfield is live at a fire station. >> firefighters tried to get a legal fireworks off the street. they have barrels where they want people to turn into fireworks. look at what they got. back here at 60th street, those

>> in bkeley twan st fires th l u t night sky. this ignited a little after 11:00. the roof of a building caught fire but firefighters aren't ready to say that was caused by fireworks. some residents would have liked to have seen more police officers out trying to keep the streets safe. >> i don't know. they could maybe patrol around or something for the police because we did see someone with a gun last night. the shooting in the sky. >> i called the oakland police department several times this morning including the police office and chief himself. i wanted to ask him and how it went on their end and no one has returned our calls. fire investigators are also looking to whether fireworks had anything to do with a blaze that

destroyed ten cars at an east oakland storage yard. the fire broke out around 5:30 at 45th and international. it took three dozen firefighters about half an hour to put out the fire. they put it at a minimum of $150,000. the illegal fireworks shows just went beyond oakland. take a look at this video from the east san jose last night. no reports of any damage or injuries from any of these fireworks. >> a man is recovering from a fireworks' related injury in concord. several of his fingers were severed by fireworks. paramedics rushed him to a nearby hospital. no information on the type of fireworks he was using. >> new details are emerge becoming the fiery crash involving a big rig truck and amtrak train in a nevada desert. it comes from a lawsuit filed by

in mexico police arrested a woman who was caught trying to sneak a suit case out of prison containing her husband. they say prison guards stopped her afterwards while she was pulling a suitcase because she
